Nolift.

And sorry all I got from this post was calling bull **** on American speed with his 1.81 on stock tires.
And a 12.87 with a CAI and tune.
Any one else?

No BS here. I've always posted my timeslips. Check out the S/S section. I went to the track this last wed, ran a 12.908 w/ 1.89 60' at 107.4. Justin from VMP was a witness to it. check out this thread https://mustangforums.com/m_4351932/tm.htm. Anyone that thinks I'm BSing should see the thread. Justin posted on itverifyingthat I only have the CAI and tune and ran on the stock tires. No weight reduction either. I guess the doubt is kind of a compliment.

There's no way shifting one of our sleds without using a clutch is either faster or even practical. You can do that on a small sequential box, like a motorcycle (We slammed shifted our on 250cc shifter karts) but no frikkin way with a big box. Sorry.

Here is the thread where I posted my 12.87 w/ the 1.81 60'.
https://mustangforums.com/m_4217723/tm.htm

If I have a very credible person witnessing a 12.908 run on the stock tires with only those mods, a 12.87 shouldn't be that hard to believe.

American Speed I believe you as I stated I am cutting 1.95's at part throttle spinning the tires on a slick track.
When the track is hooking if you get full throttle (I assume VMP disabled torque management) a 1.83 is very credible.
Your times are also credible as I suspect Orlando Speedworld is only 65' or so above Sea Level.

I'm getting the BS all over my hip waders. Must have been a timing error. The best I have ever done is below. I don't expect to ever come close to it again. It was about 40 degrees out in Michigan. .6 faster? come on man. And don't tell me its because of a CAI either

well, I can only tell you what my timeslip reads. I have had 6 passes now in the 12s. These passes have been spread over the past month. Maybe there is a timing error, who knows. But they do a lot of competition races at Orlando Speedworld so I would think that they keep there equipment up to par. For the most part I have only heard complaints about Orlando Speedworld being slow and slick, coming from people who think they should be running faster, if the timing is off, I guess they are actually slower than their timeslips say. This past wed, there was plenty of s197 mustangs with intake and tunes running around 13.5s or so and cutting 2.1+ 60s. Look at my 60' times when I have 12s runs. All this would lead me to believe that the timing is not off. Look at my trap speeds for all my runs, they are all pretty consistent. Shoot, check out thefirst thread I linked from this last wed, when I ran a 2.2 60, I only managed a 13.5, that is a pretty reasonable time with that 60'. Maybe Justin from VMP can chime in and give us his outlook on whether the track timers are in error, he did check my car out this last wed right before I ran the 12.90. If we are going to second guess machine timing errors, then I'll second guess everyone's times that have run faster than me. come on now. I've posted all my timeslips. I've even had witnesses on the forum attest to me only having a CAI and tune and running on stock tires . What more do you need? Driver mod FTW!

Okay this is getting out of hand.

The Showroom Stock Record is 13.216 (Documented)

My 100% Showrrom Stock car has been 1.951 13.351 @ 104.00 mph with a 115 lb driver at 1285' Density Altitude.

My car would go around 13.19 at 0' DA with a 115 lb driver STOCK.

So he is about 0.3 faster at a near sea level (65' ASL?) track with a CAI/Tune than my stock car.

In my car 0.1 60' = 0.17 1/4

So a 13.5 w/ a 2.2 60' = 12.82 w/ a 1.8 60'
