RE: has anyone purchased the Brenspeed drive shaft?
I'm a huge fan of brenspeed, but in this case I have to throw my support at spydershaft. This is simply because I prefer a replacement pinion flange over an adapter. Adapters are sort of an afterthought, not a good design in my opinion.

If I read Brent's site correctly I believe it is a direct bolt in without an adapter. If I'm wrong please correct me. The 3.5 inch dia. is good for clearance.

I think you're right. I still like the idea of the 3.5" dia. I have the 4.00" dia. powerhouse one, clearance is close with after market shifter. My buddy has the spydershaft, and likes it as well.
