It's not that hard to knock something like this off - a talented company can make an exact clone of an existing design, materials included, and sell them for way less. I'm sure the cost of goods on a name brand header (like JBA, Hooker, etc.) is around $50 - $60. And, their markup is 10 X or so. Another company can undercut them, make 5 X profit, and still make money.
Now, whether or not OBX is that talented is a different story...

OBX is a known knock-off company in the Honda community. Although select products for select cars are actually good, but there are more horror stories than good. OBX race header for the RSX was a solid performer, and the OBX LSD for RSX needed minor dremeling of a section but after modification, works as well as a high quality one.
Would i buy OBX? Probably not.
Would i buy OBX? Probably not.
