REPLACING STOCK HEADLAMP BULBS

RE: REPLACING STOCK HEADLAMP BULBS
Will - If you have PIAA bulbs in your fogs you can get the same PIAA bulbs for your headlights.
I've had very bad luck with Silverstars, they never last 6 months for me. I now use PIAA Platinum Super White in one rig and Phillips Vision Plus 50in another. Both were much brighter than stock, both are Very White - no hint of yellow or blue (I hate blue.)

Do these Silverstars hurt the oncoming driver's visiblity? Anyone know? I recall white beams (not on high) on cars being pretty blinding and they weren't HIDs.I kinda wanna get some after all the good things I've heard but I'm a little worried about them being too bright.

Autozone, Pep Boys, Kragen, Checker's, Schuck's, O'Reilly's, etc. should carry them (unless you live in my area, and then they only carry the 9000 series, which fit all the riceboy specials and not the s197s).

RE: REPLACING STOCK HEADLAMP BULBS
so have we reached a verdict? does PIAA actually make bulbs that will directly replace the stock bulb with no other modification or is silverstar still the way to go?

Wonder why they felt the need for yet another bulb...
Qusus - a quality bulb ina properly adjusted headlight should never blind oncoming drivers. Putting in brighter wattage bulbs (for example a 100/80 off road bulb) sure could though.
(Speaking of that, poorly adjusted fogs - specifically too high - and peoplewho have them on all the time -is one of pet peeves...)
