I say no....i bought a box and JL 12" sub and amp for less that that and it will fit in the same space as this sub and the shaker 1000 sub does

Yea but I think it comes with the wire connectors and what-not though...

What about $450 shipped? I have the shaker 1000 but a buddy of mine wants this one for his shaker 500

That sounds like a better deal. I mean the MTX powered is also $550.00... But $450 would be way better...
