mod list is a c&l street intake, brenspeed tune and slp lms. nothing special. ill take the maf out and look at it. ill look at the intake but im preaty sure its good

30mpg on the highway!!!!!??? I really need to change my driving habits on the highway. No more 3rd gear passes every couple cars and cruising at 80+.

that was pure highway. get gas at a rest stop then slowly get upto 70 and putting on the cruise control. but the weather isnt good enough for me to take out the maf. alls were getting is rain and wind.

It also sounds like you may not be running on all 8 cylinders.

Even though you checked the coil pack it still can be the problem. Mine went bad and made the car run like crap...It had a rough idle and sputtered and shook real bad when trying to drive it. Sometimes it would kick in and let the engine run normally, then it would just shut down some cyclinders again. Heat and vibration can cook one of those electric coil packs. In my case someting internally loosened up and made the pack short out.

ok im 99% postive that its a coil pack. i ran her then disconnected 1 coil pack at a time. if looking at the front of the car its the first one on the left. she was running fine for about 5 min after i started her up then started to miss. im gunna give ford a call soon and see if i can just get a coil pack instead of me having to bring her in for a whole day.
