Thanks everyone! :DMerry Christmas, btw. Santa got me $360 spending money, so expect some mod threads coming up. lol.

Anyway, here's the specs. The first plaque is the correct size to replace the Shaker's CDC emblem. Unfortunately, this is what the guy at PlaqueMaker screwed up.

Dash plates would be an option but not without a lot of measuring and corresponding to make sure it was molded to the vents.. And uh, since this guy screwed up a 3" x 2.5"rectangle shape, I wouldn't have a ton of faith in getting a correctly cut dash plate. [8D]

Actually he just screwed up the height of it... I'll find a place to put it. It actually looks cool over the Airbag text. :)

And I ordered polished rather than brushed, but I found the brushed looks better anyway. (For my preferences)

The letters are "laser" engraved... But it looks like paint. lol.

Well, since we're talking about badges, I'm planning on getting two simple "NELS" badges that are the same width / finish / thickness as the GT badges, then place it above my GT badges.

I also wanted to do a NELS GT trunk badge overlay, and I even thought about doing a "281-style" (see autobadges.com) emblem for my shaker that said NELS GT or NELS GT 4.6 or NELS GT 281

I have to be careful, though, as I could easily clutter my car with this crap if its not done tastefully. So far I think I've done good with my quest of personalization. (Also see: http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y51...d/DSCF3002.jpg and http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y51...d/DSCF3028.jpg)

So far I've got sidestripes, underhood badge, and vanity plate.

See, I also thought it'd be cool to do GT500 "Shelby" style NELS GT on the trunk lid, but again maybe I'm starting to ruin this car with my own boredom. Let me know what you think about these ideas, and if they'd clutter it.

Yeah man, I agree, stop with all the badging now... It's funny, whenever I read your posts, you are like a kid in a candy store and I mean what I am saying in the nicest way possible. It seems like your mind just never stops with things you want to do, and you get 1 idea and turn it into 10 mini ideas based on the same concept. It always makes me laugh and I get the image of this huge muscle mans scared look on his face when he's cutting his shaker hole and I just have to chuckle and shake my head. :)

But now it's time for a reality check from another mustang owner. STOP, BREATHE, ENJOY YOUR SWEET RIDE, AND REMEMBER LESS IS MORE!!!

Okay, now that you are snapped out of the little thing, with that money you should get those door ding things removed in a hurry!!!
