A second ago it said Saleen bumper specifically... Anyway, when I bought my car there were no holes. The guy lived out in the country and there werent many cops so he never drilled. Alot of dealerships don't put their dealerplates on the front of Mustangs but offer to drill for you when you buy.
I drilled myself, easy as pie. Theres little indents where you drill.
NELS GT
Edit: But yeah it definetly cheapened the look. If I didnt have my vanity plates I'd be pretty upset about the wasted space.

there is a forum member that makes brackets that mount behind the fascia and can be removed so you don't have to drill holes into the front.... ....a must have for roush/saleen/gt500
here's my roush with the bracket installed

Unfortunately, mine were already installed by the dealership before I test drove it. Not the actual plates but a frame and paper dealer logo. Which reminds me, I need a frame that doesn't have the dealership name on the back plate.

Driving with your license plate inside the car is illegal here in CA so having it there is like not having one at all. I never put my plates on, not even the back one. Got a ticket once so I had to install them, rear one with the screws, front one with plastic zip ties (I put a rag behind the plate so it doesn't scratch the bumper). After passing the inspection they came off the next day. If I really had to put them on permanently I'd use one of those frames for the front where you don'thave to drill the holes. I've seen one on ebay. One thing that pisses me off is why is an American car sold in America doesn't not have a specific spot for the license plate in the front (like the 6'ers)while having one in the front is a must

Some states only require a rear plate.
