It's still a little notchy, but I prefer to actually feel what thifter is doing. The throws are definitely shorter than in previous Mustangs, but could still be a little shorter. Overall, the shifter feels great to me.

I'm an avid, albeit, rabid, believer in two products. Red Line Oils and Tufoil (www.tufoil.com) At this time my GT has just shy of 1,500 miles. I'm fighting myself to hold back till 2k miles to put in Red Line 5w-20. (I did put it in my GMC at 1.7k miles)
I talked to Tufoil and Red Line about the Tranny. (and both on the engine) At 2k miles I'm putting Red Line ATF into the tranny, I am very sure that it will shift better. I'm also putting 10% volume of Tufoil. It'll just be better!
Meanwhile, back to the engine. As I said, I talked to Tufoil. I really like their product, wanted to put it in at 2k miles also. They said, NO! Nyet! Whoa! They vote for waiting for 4k/5k miles. Their product is really good. Wear gets slowed down a lot. The machinest that built my BMW engine said Tufoil is a great product, just makes it harder to machine a motor if it ever comes back. They have documented cases of "Tufoil" fed engines with 500k plus miles. My hopped up BMW with 128k miles plus since rebuild, on it's 26th set of tires, says "I agree!". It's little 4 banger engine gets pushed a lot harder than the GT will ever be, cause, the GT just does it better with the HP and Torque thing. My 4.3liter GMC with 145k miles, says "I agree!".
