Default Ordering a 2006 Mustang GT ???

Hello people.

I'm new on this forum. I want to buy a 2006 Mustang GT and I want to know if you can give me some advise on this.

Any of you know what is going to be new on this model? The moonroof/sunroof option will be available? When this model will be at the shops?

Why a 2006 model? Simple... I am not American an I want to import the car to my lovely country (Colombia) but the dealers in Miami are asking for 2 months time to get the 2005 Mustang GT car ready for delivery then... for maybe 4 - 8 weeks more, I will wait for the new model!

Thanks and Regards.

Hey, nickdotcom, not cool to assume someone from Colombia is a drug dealer, or to even joke about it. This is supposed to be a friendly place to discuss Mustangs, not make blanket assumptions based on nothing. Keep your stereotypes to yourself from now on and stick to stangs. I'm guessing I'm not the only one to be offended by this, not to mention how you made Pipe-Rueda feel.

No comments about Nickdotcom post.

Then... If I want the 2006 Mustang GT, I will need to wait until Q4 - 2005?? That is gonna be a long time... May be I will order the 2005 then.

Any of you have any idea of the differences between 2k5 and 2k6 models (M GT)?

Regards.

If Ford goes along with some other car makers with year 2 models, they may actually bump the hp about 20-25hp with no other changes (except those items that are on the TSB; e.g., gas tank).

For instance, the Infiniti G35 was 280hp and is now 298hp in year 2.

This is just a guess.

found this info regards the '06 GT Mustang...
Information on the 2006 Mustang is slim this early, but I'll post what I have here.
Job 1 (production begins) August 8, 2005.
The GT will have optional 18" wheels. These will be the same ones from the 2004 show cars.
Titanium, the silver from the 2004 show cars, will be available in 2006.
