Default Vortech Supercharger and MPG

I am wondering what type of gas mileage you guys are getting with 05+ GT's equipped with Vortech superchargers. My setup is as follows:

-HO Kit making 10.08 lbs of boost at 6,500 rpms (put down 451 whp)
-GT500 pumps
-Autolite HTO plugs
-OR X pipe
-Magnaflow Mufflers

My car is currently getting 14 mpg under mixed city/highway driving. I haven't been putting my foot into it due to the weather here in Chicago. It seems a bit low to me, but wanted to see what others were experiencing.

Next time you go for an extended trip just keep an eye on your mileage. I get around 14 in the city cause I'm stop/start getting into the boost. But on a trip I'll get 21-25 depending on traffic/weather and cruising speed.

You should be balt get the same at cruise on a trip.

sadly, this is the "pay" part of pay to play

When I lived in Chicago I used to drive to Ohio a few times a year. Average at 75 was like 26 hand calculated. Its nice and flat and you have to keep your foot out of it with the cruise on as much as possible. Now that im living in the mountains its quite a bit worse than that[:@] but when it starts to get to me I just go out and open it up a bit and then its back to

I would imagine that if you drive it on cruise for a time you'd get lower, but very similar, Mileage. You'd lose a bit from driving the blower, is all.
Of course, in the real world that rarely happens, we always manage to find an excuse to squeeze the pedal now and then, just to remind ourselves it's still there.
So basically, the car doesn't get that much more juicy in normal driving, our feet do ! [8D]
