Anyone know the gt500 dash part number?
Ford recently did a 40% cut in the price of the GT dash which is probably in your car.
The GT500 ones looks significantly better and I'm looking to see if I can get that one for a similar price.
Anyway I'm looking for the part number to the dash, I need that to find the part.

How does the GT500 dash look significantly better than the GT when they are the same thing? Do you mean the gauges? If you don't, then I would suggest doing a little more research and figure out what dash options you like because there are no special options for the GT500 which you cannot get for the GT. Please explain more so we can maybe help you out a little better.

Well he could go down to the local ford garage and ask the parts manager about the dash and the part numbers. There is going to be more than one part number as the dash is more the one piece. The thing that is going to kill him is the airbag as it is in the 800 dollar range. You have to get the airbag as it makes up part of the dash. If he is talking about the leather dash that will also be a big project as it is a large piece of the dash and will be difficult, but not impossible to switch. I'm sure it will also be on the expensive side to source out. Just reiterating that all of these options are also available on the GT and the V6 so he would have no problem swapping them out if he went through with it.

Another option which I have been considering is...painting it. Now I don't know what exact color it would be (maybe someone here could help?) but the air vent bezel would be a flat black. It just could be cheaper this way...
