I have to figure out how to get the other red off from the other kind of caliper paint. Then I have to worry about every time the dealership rotates the tires. THey can't seem to get the wheels on without taking another chip of paint off the calipers

Redfire - here is a quote I found from Bill of hubcapsplus when asked how to remove old paint:
"NJ3 one of the best qualities of the G2 System is the fact that it is a true epoxy. It's quite thick and has great tooth, not to mention a patented self-leveling formula... Removal of the old paint isn't really necessary. All you really need to do is rough them up a bit with some scotch-brite and or medium to rough grit sand paper clean them up and paint right over the existing finish.
If you are absolutely dead set on removing the previous coat of G2 paint you can either use a wire brush and some serious elbow grease or have it sand blasted. Once it cures it doesn't come off easy. it's actually the only brake caliper paint on the market guaranteed for the life of the vehicle."

Actually, I have the duplicolor caliper paint system on there now. Haven't had much luck with that. Starts to fade and looks like shiat until you repaint it. Plus, it chips off real easy
