Help me!! (wiring wideband)
Ok im good at doing most stuff but when it comes to wiring, or electical components, I have no patients...
Im installing an AEM UGEO wideband in one of the center vent pods...
All I got done so far is figuring out how to install the gauge in the new pod...easy...
Im having a TIG welder install the BUNG for me later this week...
I need to know the easiest place to tap into a key controlled power source. A forum member told me to tap the radio but where? Ifsomeone can clearly explain to me what to do that would be great.
Also, I know I will have to find a place to run the wideband cord through the firewall and down to the down pipe. Whats the best way to do this?
Sorry but im just a little frustrated right now becaue ive been poking around wires and fuse boxes for 2 hours and acomplished NOTHING. All I ended up doing was cracking off one of the clips that holds the fake traction control buttons in the center console...thank god there are 3 more so it went back in fine...but im still mad about it.
Im afraid to pull off any of the interrior panels because everytime I mess with plastic parts on new cars I always frikkin brake something...cant stand it...I want a 69' lol
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Hmm that helps a bit. The AEM has 4 wires...Do I need to hook up all 4?The gauge just need power...It says that I can do data logging with it, but I don't really need that.

cool thanks hammeron. The only data im interested in is what the gauge shows me at one time. The site you provided me is the way I am going to wire it. I like the add a circut, looks clean.
