Default Hurst vs. Stock

I'm wondering how the Hurst short throw shifter compared to the stock one, is it more comfortable driving with, my stang is my daily driver so i want it to be comfortable, i heard that the MGW is smoother but it's a little more pricy so i'd like to get an idea of how the Hurst is compared to stock.

The hurst has many plus's over stock, but I would never call it more comfortable in use.

It requires more strength to operate it and can get tedious in traffic.

I love the Hurst Shifter.......If you want you can go through all 5 gears with your elbow on the console, just by flicking your wrist. For the Price, You can't beat the Hurst.

Shorter throw; stiffer action

Depends on the strength of your wrist

It takes a week or two to break it in, but I have absolutely no complaints with the Hurst in either car. It's done me well. The throw is incredibly shorter than stock. Even guys who don't know jack about cars comment about it when they ride in my car.

someone posted a pic that morph 4 pictures into one showing the difference between the stock and hurst when it was in first and second if you can find that pic you can see how big the difference is
