Why do you think wages and conditions would go back to pre-civil war if we stopped the Unions? I've never been in a Union adn think I make a good living. Why should someone at a Ford plant get 75k a year to turn a screwdriver.

I dont know anything about this fair tax stuff so I'll research it, nothing about hating capitilism either...just the point that it is a viscous circle of who can get the cheaper goods. If I recall, chrysler went to germany because they went bankrupt and Daimler-Benz bought them out, but who cares bout that lol:P....Just a word about unions. Unions prevent extreme manipulation by big business. If we wouldnt have Unions we would be exactly like China...granted we would be manufacturing everything, but besides that, wages would be terrible and conditions would move back to something like pre-civil war if you let the companies decide. Good thing i am going to med school:P i don't have to worry about that... If only big businesses had the respect of small business, then you could cut unions.

Ugh, I am going waaaaay off topic here sorry guys....

My point is that in an absolutely Union free society where none exist, the company would try to manipulate you...that is what I am getting at, exaggeration aside.

well i'm just going to ignore all these written-in-stone comments and get back to the original post!

I tried to check and can't see where my stock bullitts were made, but the Pirelli's were made in Brazil.

Orion_240, if you go on the Tire Rack web site and click on any of thier wheels it will show where they are manufactured. The SVT wheels are made in America, should be the same as your stock wheels. Hope this helps.

Wow, I ususally wouldn't throw a comment in here........but.....but if we end upnot making anything in he US, where will the money come from? Don't you have to take something from the earth and make something of value from it to create money in an economy? Like farming, mining, manufacturing? Service industries only exchange money, they do not create it. Tarrifs are used in order to retain the quality of life that has been created in our country, and in my opinion we need to bring them back as well as creating similar taxation on outsourced labor.

And.............without the unions.............you would not be driving a mustang today?

it's all irrelevant any way.

All that stuff that's made in China, well, it's then marked up and sold in the US. That extra markup is one of the things that is keeping our economy from collapsing. Plus it means jobs! Take away made in China and there will be millions out of work here in the US!

I have a new set of SVT "Fanblades" made in America. North America. North North America. Canada, that is.

BTW, kyle2k, is that a 5W-20 " ... viscous circle ... " you referred to way up there above?
