Default 05-08 Hurst Shifter

Anyone tried the Hurst Shifter?

Your thoughts on it?

I am considering it.

Thanks

Looks great works OK most either love it or hate it. I found it to not be very smooth when shifting so after about a month a took it out.

I like that pic you made....it really shows the difference between stock and the Hurst. The Hurst company should have thought of that

Is there a setting to adjust how "high" the **** sits? I wasn't aware that the Hurst **** was that much higher/taller than stock. I presume MGW is the same height as well?

I have the Hurst Shifter and really like it. Does anyone know where I can buy the shifter stick seperately?

I heard that there is a way to adjust it in another post...I believe (correct me if I'm wrong) that 06Saleen3V said that there is a way to adjust it. If you end up PMing him about it then PM me because I would like to know as well.

No you can't adjust how high the **** is. I mean you could probably raise it a couple threads and lock it there, but I don't know why you would want to do that. But no making it short if that's what you are asking.

I would guess you could buy the stick a lone from Hurst. 818-483-1366. Good luck getting ahold of them. I called three days straight at different times throughout the days and finally go ahold of them. Left a dozen messages also.

Yes. take a tap and tap more of the tube. Take a hacksaw and cut the top parts off, that way you can screw it as far down as you want..
