O/R H pipe with a set of resonators helps clean it up and keeps the loud angry sound

ORIGINAL: SonicBlue05GT

no cats on the 05-08 = no good IMO. it's not smooth, it trumpets, not deep.

I'm going high-flow cats... shame these cars don't sound like the 99-04s
There's a lot of vids of our cars on youtube running without cats that sound great, it just takes the right combination of parts to get the sound your looking for.

X pipe = Raspy
H pipe = American thunder baby.

I have the Pypes offroad H plus the Flows. Getting ready to change it up to Pypes Mid Muffler System and the Pypes Offroad H. The sound clip on Brenspeed sounds amazing!

I was running the O/R H with Flows. I liked it, it was rather on the loud side tho.
Then the flows started to rattle, so I sent them back for warranty and had to put the stock mufflers back on in the meantime. Well Its staying that way, I like it! A happy medium.
Had 4" tips welded on the stockers.

Stock muffs, O/R-H
