I think they add that little extra something to the look of the car.
I installed these the same day of the dredded oil filter gasket problem.

I got them fron http://www.brakedesigns.com/
There was a group buy awhile back thatMELLOWYELLOW06 setup, I got the front and rears for $205 shipped.
Drop MY06 a PM and he can probably fill you in and see if the deal is still going.

ORIGINAL: blueherd02gt
How hard was the install?
How hard was the install?
There is 2 bolts per a caliper, pull the old rotors and install the new.
I only have 5,000 miles on my stang so I didn't even have to fight getting the calipers over the new rotors.
now i really need to explore the idea of painting my calipers again, I just don't know what color with look good with a Windveil Blue.

Sweet, thanks for sharing.
I'm planning on this being my next purchase but primarily b/c of the stocker's rusting so bad and making such a mess when you wash the car. Do these rust on you???

I washed my car today and yes they rust also.
Where the pad meets the rotor the zince plating with be gone and they will rust just like the stock rotors but not quite as bad.
It is the nature of the best and we just have to get use to the rust.

They look good and for that price they look even better but i noticed that they are rotating in a front direction? most would have the sweep backwards to keep pad life and as far as caliper color i would go with PTM or black

The interesting thing is that BDI says they drill and slot them forward because it reduces vibration.
Now I think we can assume there is no real left and right rotor and that they must be interchangeable so you can have the pattern slanting towards the rear.
I considered each direction and decided to go with what BDI suggested and the look is good.
The pattern is different because you always seen it slanting to the rear.
What is PTM and I have thought about black, gloss or flat?
The thing is a don't think I will stripe my car but leave it the solid color.
Thanks for the kind words fellas.
