was he driving with a heavier car?
I once tapped into a friend's back bumper when he slammed on the brakes going downhill after going through water. He was driving a little Porches 914 and I was in my old Mustang with rear drum brakes! But he ended up making out by fixing it himself and pocketing the insurance company's money!

Gah, sitting at a red light and BOOM!
That's only happened to me 9 times in 6 years. [:@]

Get the GT/CS bumper from Ford.
