hey guys, well 2day it was rainy so i decided to tint/paint my tail lights..
since there 5 individual sections to tint (not including reverse light).. i measured and cut them to size and applied them
they came out great!! =D...

so next is the paint. i need to spraypaint the ridges inbetween the sections and the curves of the sections black. but i was thinking this might look stupid when my lights are on because you would see where the tint was.

so do they make a spray paint that is smoked? idk if this is possible or not but i thought it would be a good idea..

and where can i buy it? thankss

My tail lights are tinted black because they were painted...thats really the best way to go in my opinion as long as you don't want to revert back at some point...

Never heard of a transparent paint except for duplicolor's version.

If I were you I'd just get taillight bezels that are black and if you can't find any, go chrome or even get them powder coated

The lights were sprayed by a spray gun with a black paint mixture and then I believe they are clear coated...its a whole process my buddy goes through when he does it and I'm really not sure what all is involved...but he is a professional so I just let him do it...but its definitely not something you get at autozone though

btw.. i just realized i wasted over 8 hours of my life trying to custom cut tint and apply it for the headlights, turns, sides, tails, fogs, brake...

atleast this will be way cooler!! [sm=groupwave.gif]
