Alright here is the deal I want a Mustang GT. I was told the mustang I want can't be found because all the 05's are spoken for so I have to wait tell may to order a 06 becuase Ford stops production of the 05s for a change over. They said if I order in may I will get it in august.

Before I get bashed I need a auto and I know its a GT ... I like the GT look but I want the automatic for traffic. The seat of course needs to be leather. The radio in the new mustangs lacks navigation which I want so I am going with an after market double din player. Why upgrade to the 600 dollar shaker 500 when I am pulling it out? Then I also don't want a stock spoiler becuase I like the after market ones better. I would get it then pull it out and sell it but I don't want holes in my trunk.

So basicly I have come to find that my mustang that I want is like finding a needle in a haystack and you just can't.


Someone please prove me wrong so I don't have to wait until least august to see my stang

your dealer is lying to you, so that when the 05's he ordered do come in, he can up the price like crazy.

I agree, I don't think your dealer is telling you the entire story. I would run and not look back. There are a few good dealerships in every state, you just need to communicate through email so you can hit delete quickly, and move to the next one, if you start getting BS answers. Go to the ford website and get the list of dealers in your city/state and start emailing. Just don't give out your telephone #. Good luck.

prior to the up-ping of production on the 05's dealers were telling folks they couldn't get any more gt's becuase they'd used up their OWN allotment for the year. when a dealer says no more 05's what it really means is that he himself can't get anymore. and why not tell you they aren't available anywhere else because then you'll go to another dealer to get one.

i believe 6/29 is the cut-off for ordering 05's. the 06 job 1 date is 8/1

Ehhh, i dunno. The factory spoiler is ok. IMO Without it, a Mustang looks like a rental car... A Toyota Solara. 99-04. The 05 just looks too plain in back without the spoiler.
