For those who have installed this, how much additional NHV does this mod produce? I realize it is trade-off when tightening things up, but trying to maintain a balance of performance improvements along with drivability.

I almost did this mod until I saw this.... May be the reason these are the only kit like this out there.

Wow, that sucks for that guy. Guess I'll play it safe and just get a K member brace without the torque limiters or maybe with the poly limiters rather than the rod ends like that guy had.

That was in the back of my mind the first time I saw a picture of this product. Seems like not a real strong point to try holding the engine still against torquing. I thought I was just worrying too much like always. Interesting...

I read a good part of that thread and this was the only one that had this issue. PMP states that maybe the casting itself was weak and the added stress caused the break. I have not heard of it happening to anyone else and many are running 650 RWHP+ with the TQ limiters and no issues. I have mine on and no issues just better (smoother) shifting and less flex......one out of hundreds or thousands is not a big deal and anything made by man or machine can and will have failures....JMO

In that thread, someone mentioned that another similar incident occured to someone else a year before I believe. If anything, I'll get the ones with poly limiters rather than the ones with rod ends.

I have the poly and they are more then adequate for the car. This is probably not necessary but you can get the motor mounts (prothane etc) to further stiffen up the drivetrain and you covered the front and back of the motor/trans evening out the transfer to more then one spot. I am confident that the Che TQ limiters will be on the car even when I do go forged and have 650 RWHP!
