I am in no way biased as far as tips go for the GT's because unfortunately I dont have a choice...but I think Corsas look the best on the GT's
Why thank you!! [sm=Flahssssss.gif]

nice muffs! do they recreate the sound of the 68 bullitt as well as they are supposed to?
You can't really create a sound with mufflers. They just quiet down the sound made from the engine. If you want a truly different sound then you need different engine internals like a different cam grind. All a muffler will do is muffle the sound already created in the engine... Some mufflers give different tones, some let more sound through than others, but in the end its all the same sound just altered and quieted slightly.

You won't get a '68 bullitt by changing mufflers.

Right, but Ford has stated that they had this muffler/modified H pipe system designed specifically to replicate the sound of the original Bullitt. They've said they spent countless hours reviewing clips from the movie and trying to recreate that sound with the new Bullitt.

If that is TRUE, I'm sure they could have spent that time and money on something actually worth while for the Mustang.

Did you install them yourself, any issues to deal with, does it use the stock hangers...
Thanks

like what? they wanted the bullitt to be a carbon copy of the original so they did something special and tried to get the exhaust right. it was one design team, not the entire ford company.

The exhaust sounds nothing like a 60s Mustang. I know because I've got a 65' sitting in my garage. I wouldn't waste the money on the Bullit mufflers personally. There's much better options out there.

well i think they didthe best job they could on the exhaust with it being so much smaller than the 68. its a 68 mustang gt 380 with a 281 heart transplant. thats best way to explain it's sound.
