the weather here in ohio can get pretty crappy, but I didn't buy it to park it. My mustang goes with me everywhere I go so I can keep an eye on it. They are not bad in the snow, if you know how to drive in it.

winter driving can be tons of fun when on roads without other drivers around. So yes, i drive mine year round but if i had the money i would definitely get an alternate car to take out in the snow if i didnt have to.

but...

1 inch of snow on pavement = easy drifting with minimal tread loss

I live just outside Edmonton and have an 06 GT vert. It gets parked in October and comes out to play at the end of April.

+1 When it is nasty out I drive my 1991 Chevy Pickup -- it doesn't do any better in the snow than the Mustang, but I don't worry about people sliding into me, and if you have an old beater truck, folks will get out of your way.

I live in the Manayunk section of Philly (think San Fran with smaller hills for all you west coastites) and I drive it everyday. It is my only ride. Driving in the snow is easy. All you need to do is get and keep momentum. Oh and 100 lbs of Quikcrete in the trunk doesn't hurt either.
