Yesterday RX8, Today GT
All it took was ONE test drive to convince me to make the switch. I traded in my 2004 RX8 for a REAL sports car. I bought this one right off the show room floor. Dealer actually tried to add $3500 for "Market Value Adjustment".

RE: Yesterday RX8, Today GT
I drove my RX8 for 13 months and while I appreciated all the "head turning", I'm liking the Stang more and more for several reasons.
1. I'm 6'6" and I am MUCH more confortable driving the GT.
2. Also, more room in the back (not much more) b/c my son is 6'3 and daughter is 5'10", so every little bit helps
3. RX handled better. I could take to same turns much faster in the X. Could be that I'm not use to the GT weight yet.
4. GT has more power and sound. Nothing beats an old fashion V8 rumble.
5. This car (GT) might pass down to my daughter in 4 years and the RX was too much maint. Oil, TPMS, flooding, which I had fixed but it flooded after being fixed and other minor things that I liked doing but she would not.
6. Many more options, aftermarket stuff on the GT. The RX still turned a lot of heads b/c it was a nicely designed car and there werent a million on the road everyday. I could drive for weeks and never see another RX. So I decided to get additional "stuff" on the GT to make it standout and perform better.
Hope this helps.
