Default RE: Bassani x pipe issues on 06 GT

i didnt get it welded yet...it may seem hokey, but I think im going to stop by the parts store, and see if they have some type of high temp rubber hose/wrap that i can wrap around the joint, then put 2 hose clamps around each joint...it will not leak any more... having someone tack weld it from the bottom, remove the pipe, weld around the top, then put the pipe back in just seems silly, its going to cost more than the pipe did! And if they dont tack enough while its in place, theres going to be a good chance that the angles wont be right and something is going to be crooked. I dont know why its in 4 pieces, I didnt expect that. I seen the Pypes rep leaving messages on the board, so I dropped him an email...i just wanna see if welding it is the only option (its not rocket science, im guessing its going to be the only way to do this, except for my kinda hokey rubber wrap idea) anyways, Thanks for some responses.....
