I'm not sure about Cobra's but Passports use a standarad telephone cord for power. The inner two wires if I remember correctly are used for power/ground.
I ran it above the windshield down the passanager A pillar to the fuse box, tapped the compass/mirror fuse since its switched.
The phone cord was essentially free, it took 5 minutes.

I wired my radar detector from the mirror to the 12v outlet in the center counsel, I tucked the wire up into the headliner then through the a-arm and down under the dash. Zip tied it under the dash and into the center counsel and through the access panel inside the arm rest storage compartment and plugged it into the 12v outlet.
