Hey guys,

Im looking to buy this for my radar detector. I really want to hook it up to the map lights or any other easy ways. Whats the best way to wire this and any steps or tututials on how to. Thanks

i have my V1 hard wired in. you have to hook it up to a hot lead and ground it. actually really easy.

I wired my radar detector from the mirror to the 12v outlet in the center counsel, I tucked the wire up into the headliner then through the a-arm and down under the dash. Zip tied it under the dash and into the center counsel and through the access panel inside the arm rest storage compartment and plugged it into the 12v outlet. When the car turns on it goes on and when you remove the keys it stays on until someone opens a door. I think this way is easier then hardwiring it to the fuse box or map lights.
