RE: how many have a CAI/Tune combo and had NO trouble?
Took my time and followed the directions that came with the intake. Also sanded the plastic where the elbow made contact with the throttle body/vacum hose/air filter. Did not touch any fuses. Plugged in the SCT and followed the directions.

My Brenspeed 93 tune was fine untill I installed the wideband and saw how lean it was running. Im pretty sure when I get the AFR right with Brent's new tune he is sending me, it will be all good.
My advise would be to buy a CAI and tuner combo because you know that the tune works best with that intake. Thats the problem I had. The MMR is not tested by Brenspeed so they gave me an AFR tune that would be used with the stock box...no good.

The reason it would act up (low idle, throwing codes, bad gas mileage) is because it's not tuned right. You either need to go over your tune or have a shop do it for you if you're having trouble.

Put the stock box back on and you may be perfect.
