Ford Racing Tune on Whipple Supercharger

RE: Ford Racing Tune on Whipple Supercharger
i ordered and received some nickel anti-seize.
i'm curious as to whether it can hold up for very
long, on the area shown in the pic below....
i'm going to try this the next time i pull my
plugs, which i previously coated with the
copper variety

RE: Ford Racing Tune on Whipple Supercharger
Hammeron -if your car starts right up and the tune is loaded and not tampered with or changed from FRPP/Whipple you are fine. On an mustang dyno those numbers are good IMO!I had considered going with the FRPP tune if my tuner didn't get the "rich at start up right" (which I have since had no problems after a 2nd dyno tune even with 15 deg weather!) Moose suggested that I tryit and I think my tuner contacted Whipple and went from there..... J Moose post those numbers after the dyno this friday! I think you will get great numbers...I know all engines can vary but I had 454 RWHP with 93 degrees outside and 67% humidity in the summer! This fall it was 60 degrees and humidity was much less and the car yielded 465 RWHP on the dyno after adjustingthe tune! I have none of the mods you do except the S/C....this should be interesting to see what you put down (I know track times are a better real world look at what the car is really capable of!)

ok, i guess i'll check my plugs periodically,
to see if there is excessive carbon
buildup

RE: Ford Racing Tune on Whipple Supercharger
thanks mygt500, yeah i agree and i love the FRPP tune,
it drives like a stock car with 200 extra bhp
a taste of my own medicine? i'm going to, i might
even do it this weekend, if i can get the car out for
it's weekend drive (need to warm the engine before
pulling plugs)...
Get out there and pull a plug! Mine have always looked perfect, so it can't be running to rich. I can't really do a WOT run and then pull the plugs though so maybe any carbon build up gets burned off by the time I get home.
