Are they the Christmas tree clips? God I hate those things. Since I don't have that handy tool, I take a flat head screw driver and pry up the center part of the clip working my way around and eventually it comes out.

They're called Christmas Tree Fasteners...and they are a pain in the A$$. They also hold some of the interior lining.

Just slide the screw driver under and gently turn the handle. As DERF mentioned, you'll need to work around the perimeter to avoid damaging the plastic. Someone on here mentioned you could order these from Ford for like $10 per 100, but I can't find that post through the search.

Ditto, I spent like $20 at the dealer and bought a slew of different ones and keep them in my glove box. I have a nasty habbit of losing the fender under liners. They are real cheap and I don't worry about breaking them and I don't like re-using them. Even though you can get them off pretty clean - they never seem to seal back down perfect after the first time. My advice is to shell out the couple measly bucks on new ones.
