Has anyone noticed pitting on the chrome trim rings around the speedo/tach cluster? Mine is slightly pitted on the front edges ever since I bought the car new. You can barely see it unless you're looking at it closely and you can feel the roughness with your fingers. I didn't bother asking the dealer about it but would this be something covered under warranty? Maybe I should just learn to live with it. But then again, you buy something new and expect it to be perfect.

I noticed it, and some areas are starting to flake off. I'm not worried too much about it as I want to get a blue chrome to replace it later...

Not so much on the cluster chrome ring but one of the vent rings blistered and lifted. I had the dealer do the replacement under warranty. I had attributed the issue to the broiling tx sun but none of the others are problemmatic. Chrome plated plastic is not known for extreme durability.
