Scott Drake 60's Style Gas Caps - Retrofit?
Has anyone tried to retrofit a Scott Drake 60's style gas cap to the trunk of our car replacing the faux gas cap that ours has? I know I could go with the Siverhorse Products, but these would be more unique.
There are some really sweet looking gas caps on his site that I would love to find a way and fit in place of the faux one.
Hereare twoI like a lot:

Those gas caps are a bit over 4" in diameter, the rear badge/medallion on our cars is 6" in diameter. That may or may not be an issue depending on whether you have a rear black out panel.

Also, don't forget about the key hole. Unless you plan on shaving it, you'd have to make sure the new one is functional (opens) in order to get to the key hole. If your not worried about getting to the key hole, it may just cover it without it being functional.
