the et streets will definately have a drift feeling to them, but will be quicker because the rotational weight is about 10 lbs less per tire than the drag radialand hook better if you have serious power. the drag radials hook good, but drive excellent. I love my drs but will be changing to the et streets

Bias plys FTW! These suckers hook like superglue. Plus, they look bad *** (see pics).

Please rethink driving to the track with drag tires on!
You might run off the road and damage your car if it suddenly starts to rain!

Nobody's gonna steal your stock street tires & rims at the track!

We don't really get surprise rain around here. So I can't see that happening. I'm sure at times I'll have other people with me, but I know occaisionally I'll need to drive to the track with the wheels and tires on. And the '05 isn't running OEM wheels. The '07 won't for long.

Bias-ply grab better than radial at launch.
Oh, Nobody runs tubes in the 17" ET Streets. They dont even make 17" tubes.....
M/T has the best compounds for drag tires!

Cheater slicks

ORIGINAL: DarkFireGT

Which ET Streets? They make radials and bias ply cheater slicks. That's what I'm trying to decide between.

I'm leaning towards the radials. What kind of 60's are you guys getting out of the radials?

I'll be locking my ET Streets with a Cable and Lock at the track, not that I don't trust anyone, but why tempt anyone. Besides 22 is under a huge amount of construction and these drag tires are not cheap I'd like them to last as long as I can.

I'm pulling low 1.5 60' with my drag radials, but they are 15's and I'm still running stock control arms
