Default ET Streets... Radials or Bias Ply?

Going to be ordering some 17x9's for drag tires. Which is best, and why? I've heard of great 60's out of both. I will be driving about 20 each way to the track, also, with the drag tires on.

the bias ply are wobbly @ the top end but hook better on the launch... the radials more stable....

What am I supposed to do with the stock tires/wheels once I get there? I'm not just going to leave them sitting out. We take both cars out and both of us race.

How wobbly? I'm worried about my fiance mostly.

Are the M&H radials better than the ET Street radials? I've heard of 1.4x short times with M&H radials.

idk how wobbly... I never used them but two buddies have. some of the guys bring some locking cables and lock the tires up to a post or fence and usually we go as a group so someone is around in the pits to keep an eye on stuff

The bias ply are tube tires. I usually recommend the radials. They grip better than my clutch does on 5k rpm launches, for one thing.

Which ET Streets? They make radials and bias ply cheater slicks. That's what I'm trying to decide between.

I'm leaning towards the radials. What kind of 60's are you guys getting out of the radials?

The radials are extremely sticky, more than enough for our power levels at the track. In Nov, while at the track, I put my hand on aMT ET street radial after a run, it felt like touching duct tape!

Thanks for the information, guys. After doing more research, I'll be going with the M&H Racemaster DR. I've seen decent 60's with the MT Drag Radial, but the M&H Drag Radials are getting slick-type 60's. 1.4X's with a drag radial on multiple occaisions. So, that's what I'll be going with. But again, thanks for your help.

I would go with the radials, wait, i did!

Hmm, the cable would be a good idea now that I have new wheels that would be sitting in the pits. With the 2 stockers only I didnt worry too much about them getting stolen when I have gone with my son only to the track.
