Default Air / Fuel readings. whats Normal?

I just installed the AEM Wideband Air / fuel gauge and I am getting erratic readings.
At idle it's 14.5 - 15.2
at WOT 12.8 -13.8
it jumps around alot, is there an ajustment or calibration needed?
the intructions state that the unit comes pre calibrated so not sure what ot think. any ideas?

The A/F will bounce around during normal driving. The important thing is that it settles under WOT. Your WOT numbers sound about right for a N/A car.

Stoic is 14.7:1. On a modern electronic fuel injected engine regardless of manufacturer,AFR should not vary much from 14.7 atidle or partial throttle. At WOT 12.8-13.8 is appropriate for a naturally aspirated engine. For forced induction, you would want to richen it up a little bit.

The AEM has the Ability to use a serial interface to log the A/F readings, has anyone used this with the SCT Livewire?

So are we asking for trouble if we asked to be tuned and target 11.7-11.8?
