I'm in Jersey too and I would wait. It is supposed to dip down again..... why risk messing it up.
The way the weather has been around here it could be 70 again next week!!!!!!

Anyone you know has a heated garage? That would be my plan, otherwise, wait.

Even though my car is in the garage, I'm waiting until spring to tape on 1/4 louvers, side mirror covers, and a chin spoiler. I'd rather wait and do it right than do it now and have stuff fly off my car at 70+ mph.

If you have a heat lamp or can put your hands on one, you can do this in the garage. Don't understand why you guys up northwouldn't have such devices[8D].
The 3M tape (or other brand) need to be soft for good bonding.
Even though you have bolts, it doesn't guarantee a flush mount all the way aroundthat spoiler if the tape doesn't stick.

Great advice and many others are right on as well.....wait until warmer weather....JMO

Wait for 70 degree weather and use 3M4298 Adhesion Promoter.

What about if I want to install a CDC chin spoiler? Uses factory bolts, the current temp is 34.

Any add on that uses factory bolts or any bolts for that matter and 3M tape as a secondary system should be fine. Just heat the area as warm as possible and slap it on there.

doesnt need tape bolts right up to factory holes.(after trimming down the two outer honeycomb areas)

heres a walkthrough. If you have a garage go for it. If not wait for warmer weather.

eddieval5....I LOVE the wheels..........very nice.

If you have a garage you can keep the car in, I think it would be ok to go ahead and install with the 3M tape.......I am sure it would stick ok in colder temps, but they recommend 60` and above for a reason. Good luck.
