I would say black ONLY if you get a blackout kit for the front lights. If you do, then get blacks no questions asked. If you don't, then get clears.

EDIT: While we're on the subject - are the lights that are in the bumper turn signals colored when they light up stock or do you need to get lights that do that? I have a front and back clear set and I needa know if I'm going to be breaking some laws in the near future.

I have already gotten my lenses for the front corners and the rear reflectors. Would someone who has already gotten and installed their lenses and bulbs confirm for me that these infact are the correct bulbs? My mustang along with the uninstalled lenses are down at my parents house in storage so I cannont pull the bulbs to verify myself.

I know the numbers are 3157 for the stealth bulb, and 194 chrome amber for the front turn. Also, I read that the light for the rear side reflectors are also 194 but a different "style". I am linking a few ebay auctions for you all to see if I am looking at the correct bulbs (I did a quick search, not saying I am gonna use the companies in these sales, just trying to make sure I'm looking at the right stuff):

front bumper: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Ford-...spagenameZWDVW

front bumper turn: http://cgi.ebay.com/194-168-161-2825...QQcmdZViewItem

rear side reflector: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2-RED...spagenameZWDVW

Please lemme know if I am on the right track. I would appreciate the guidance to make sure I get the right stuff the first time. I am NOT trying to get any bulbs that are "brighter" or "trick" in anyway, just wanna get the right stuff to replace what comes stock on the car that will let me take advantage of the new, clear lenses and reflector.

Thanks again

Bryan

What I did, ordered the blacks from ebay, no complains by now. By the time I ordered mine, there wasn't any with no orange at all. Mine comes with a small orange piece, internally. I do like it.

Now there are the same, without the orange.

I really dislike that huge orange thing on the corners, is big, is disturbing for me. Specially if the car is dark.

Mine is an alloy, so I went the black route, I don't have or even like a blackout, the blacks look great for me for a very simple reason, matches perfectly the headlight, there is the chrome cone behind the bulb but is black on the side, just as the headlight, there are also black-blacks that I don't like, the back of the bubl is also black.

Here a couple of pictures of mine.

Front:

Side: (The flash makes the orange piece more noticeable than it really is)

Yes, you are right. For the front I went the led route and they work great until I turn the lights on, because it has a diode so it just light part of it when the turn is off so with the lights on the turn does not work well (fast flashing) I'll have to add the resistor or buy bulbs like yours. I'm afraid on how much they will last, and how bright they are. You are safe with leds on the side reflector.
