It's been a while since I've posted anything, but I'm hoping that there may be someone can give me a little advice. I had the dealer install a Ford alarm system in my stang a week after I took delivery this past summer. Shortly after that I moved from NY to CA then the alarm stopped working properly. I have to reset it every time I want to arm it and even then it doesn't go off when I open the door. Anyway, the issue is not how to use the alarm, the issue is whether or not theis other dealership will cover this under my extended warranty. If it were factory-installed, there should be no question, but this is a factory system that is dealer-installed. Anybody have to deal with a similar situation?
