Got the gt and love it, but have a ???

RE: Got the gt and love it, but have a ???
Since the car is no longer under warranty she really has no choice but to take it back to the dealer she bought it from. I doubt the dealer would reimburse her for the repairs without seeing the problems on the car firsthand.
Kara, def. give the dealership a call right away about this issue. If they're legit, they SHOULD offer to fix it for you for free since you JUST bought it. Call them ASAP though.
Before you do this though, absolutely make sure the engine coolant is at the proper levels as someone else mentioned. I can't emphasize this enough as this will often make the temp gauge read hot after driving awhile.
I haven't heard of 05+ Mustangs having a heating problem. However, engine cooling is a common issue on quite a few modern cars.
Keep us posted.

Congrats on the car Kara! Make sure they pay to fix it. Keep in mind, it may be cheaper (for gas purposes) to take it to a close dealer and pay to fix it yourself if it is not too expensive. Keep us posted

Call the dealer first and if you just brought the car home and found the problem on the way home maybe the dealer you bought it from can authorize a dealer near you to cover the repairs. Just give the dealer a call and explain your situation and tell us what they say! Welcome to the forum and I do not think this is a common problem but if the motor is warm or cool to the touch and you dont smell anything burning after your lond drive home the car will be fine. If you have to pay for it yourself it should not cost that much.
