I drove the car 300 miles home, and the guage showed it to be running warm. Almost on the h. I killed theengine and the engine wasnt hot at all. When I started the car back it was way over the H. Still the car engine is cool to the touch. Runs perfect. Shows no sign of being hot?? Whats up with that!
Let the car cool off completely, then check your anti-freeze (coolant) to make sure it's properly filled. If that's OK it may be a Bad Gauge no biggie.
It isnt under warranty anymore[:@] Is this a common problem? The car was really cool under the hood. I have had SEVERAL overheating cars and this didnt show any signs of over heating
I'd call the dealer you bought it from and expect to be reimbursed for the repairs - there has to be a lemon law that applies to cases like this. Not that the car is a lemon, but they should fix it for free.
