right now imj aboutn to put some money into my car.. and i wanted to get some opinoins on what whould be the best set up as for a programer, headers intake and gears.. thanks alot

The best set-up would be a supercharger from www.brenspeed.com however not all of us are that ready to buy it. My first suggestion would be a CAI/with brenspeed tune. SCT2 tuner is what I have and it can be used for many things. For example if you ever get a check engine light you can received the code from the tuner and google it on the computer and find out the problem. Another great example is when I changed gears I was able to recalibrate the speedometer to make it give accurate readings. Also the SCT2 can store three tunes and as well as your stock tune. You can have tunes emailed to you and download it off your computer to the tuner and it's as easy as 1,2,3. When I first started this great adventure I hadn't a clue on anything and now though no mechanic I'm a 100 percent more proficent. Give Brenspeed a try they have excellent service and anytime you want an answer you can call or email. They are truly amazing.

Most quality parts may be purchased at www.brenspeed.com excluding gears. I don't think they sell those anymore. Good luck hope you have money and an understanding wife or girlfriend because this will be an addiction.

- Tuner (aka "programmer"): buy a package form Brenspeed or Bama - get the Tuner and 3 tunes
- Headers: long tube or shorty? Catted or offroad? Lots of choices but for long tubes the ARH and Kooks are highly regarded.
- Intake: C&L or JLT, again get a package with intake, Tuner and Tunes from the above
- Gears: what ratio? The only brand to get is FRPP but the question is what ratio do you want. The majority opinions are 4.10s for a manual, 3.73s for an auto
