Hi all.
Can someone confirm that there is no fuel filter in a 2013 Ford mustang V6. I know there is one in a V8. Was told there is one for my vehicle as well but I went under there and checked from the fuel tank to the engine and there is no fuel filter. Please LMK. Thanks in advance.

The 2013 has a "lifetime" filter in the tank. Even the GT has that filter and not one in the line. The 2005-2010 had one under the driver seat; I don't recall if the "lifetime" in tank filter started in 2011.

makes sense why it wasnt there. But I am really confused because I went ahead and called Ford headquarters and they told me that in fact there should be an inline fuel filter under the driver's seat on my 2013 V6 mustang. He even told me the model number of the fuel filter.

Must say I am not sure if i like or believe in the idea of a "lifetime" filter?

Is that in tank filter replaceable? From what I was told it's sold as a part of the fuel pump housing which is $249.

No, that was a big discussion point when I had my 2013 - the "lifetime" in the tank fuel filter that you can't simply replace like the earlier models.
