That's what I always wondered about those fenders. They look kinda cool though.

What if you just covered over the mesh with the inner fender liner like normal, so it would just look like a blacked-out grate there? It wouldn't have any function, but it would still look sharp and you wouldn't spray the side of your car with rocks and water and whatever every time you took it out.

ya im going to see how much of a problem that really is going to be. if worsts comes to worst ill just switch them out. thanks though =]

best part is im getting my baby back in a week. first i heard it was going to b 3-4 but they have been working night and day!

Is it just me, or does it look like someone just took aDAto the fender, made three cuts (two horizontal, one along the fender lip), pushed the metal in, and then fabbed in a screen?

I mean, don't get me wrong, it looks like a good job, but I don't think that's a whole aftermarket replacement fender, is it? I mean, in the top pic it looks like the front half of the fender is still gloss black.. ???
