It is almost impossible to drive my stang in the winter. I have done it a few times this winter just to make sure everything was ok and I was taking my life in my hands doing it!

Practice my friend. I live in Edmonton, and this is winter #2 that my V6 is dealing with, and I haven't had a problem yet, with stock tires and no weight in the trunk. Our Mustangs hold up fine in the winter, you just have to drive it easy (or not, really. I still have moments where I'm very punchy with it in the winter. No problems.)

Ya.. It gets cold! I was down in Santa Monica a few weeks ago and people were walking around in heavy jackets with touques and gloves on! I was walking around in shorts and a t-shirt! haha. I don't drive my car in the winter because my grandparents go to the states for the winter so I just use their car. It's a win win situation because they don't need their car and I don't have to risk wrecking mine!

Ihad a local body shop fill and paint mine for about $80 - looks like the holes were never there...

Nick
Do you know what they did to fill the holes?
They glued a piece of plastic to the inside of the bumper and used bondo to cover the holes. I had the holes filled over a year ago, and it still looks like holes were never there. In my opinion, the plugs don't look very good, which is why I went the body shup route.

Nick
Man, could you post some pics? I am curious to see how that turned out!!
Let's see if these come out ok...

Plus one to the plugs and touch up paint. I picked up a couple of plastic plugs at Lowes......

That kind reminds me of protruding nipples!
