I have a Spec Stage III clutch its a great clutch just very unforgiving!

Both aluminum and steel have their advantages...aluminum is better for most applications

what's the max you can dump with the stock clutch? i ask this cuz i've sort of been going crazy and every now and then (actually about 5 times) i've dropped the clutch at around 4-5k. i should PROBABLY stop, which i will, but i'd like to know at what point will the clutch just give out? the car is an 08 gt with 1,8xx miles.

Yes they have an aluminum flywheel (lightest in the market). The Mcleod does not chatter upon breakin and the breakin period is much shorter on these clutches
