iwanna takemy stereoout, i think its oem. is that double din? can i remove it safely or should i take it to an audio store?
im tryin to put in a small-ish screen, and a new radio with built in hd receiver, sound good?
its an '06 mustang, v6, 4.0 if any of that matters but i dont think that actually matters to the radio does it.

Removal and Installation
All vehicles
[ol][*]Apply the parking brake.[/ol]
Vehicles with manual transmission[*]Place the gearshift lever in the NEUTRAL position.
[ol][/ol][*]Unscrew the gearshift lever ****.
[ol][/ol]
[ul][/ul][*]Remove the gearshift lever **** and boot.[*]With a non-marring tool, lift the gearshift lever boot retainer upward.

Vehicles with automatic transmission[*]Place the selector lever in the NEUTRAL position.
[ol][/ol][*]Remove the selector lever bezel.[*]With a non-marring tool, lift the selector lever bezel upward.[*]Open the storage compartment door.
[ol][/ol][*]Remove the 2 floor console finish panel screws.
[ol][/ol]
[ul][/ul][*]Remove the floor console finish panel.[*]Lift the floor console finish panel upward to release the retaining clips. #3 in pic[*]Disconnect the electrical connector.

[ol][/ol][*]Remove the LH and RH instrument panel finish panels. # 4 in pic[*]Pull outward on the instrument panel finish panels to release the retaining clips.
