RE: My current mods..more to come.
Stripes are being painted on this week, should be done tommorrow. I dont plan on picking up the car until next week. I was going tohave the Foose stripe kit from Baltimore street mods but had a change of heart. Truth be told they, The Shop, freakin convinced menot todo it. Instead they they gave me a great price on painting the stripes on. This should be very unique as the stripes follow the lines of the car. There are a bit more curves less spacing in the center and a nice chaser at the end. Dare I mention the smooth glass finish.
In terms of my exhaust I first had flows with the stock h-pipe. I then went with the x/h pipe by magnaflow, bad mistake as it was welded in.It sound good, but I wanted it louder. I thought that the O/R h-pipe would be the answer it was not, too loud. I removed the O/R H-pipe and put the x/h pipe back on.I then went with the Imco Cherry Bombs, needless to say, I was not impressed. Finally, I decided to go with the Mac's Boomtubes, WOW! I found the answer. I just wish that I would have not cut out my h-pipe, that was one I wish I could take back. Somewhere in there Ihad the JBA Shorty headers installed,oh well! I'll be gonning back to the exhaust soon. My plan is to purchase some hi-flow cats, have them welded into the O/R h-pipe that I have sitting in the garage, and hookingthem upto a prochamber midpipeback out to theboomtubes.
I'm following th notion of getting what I want, not getting what I got! Hope I answered all of your questions. I post pics of my car when I get it back from the shop.
