Default Catched Air?!

Right, everyone has been in this following situation:
The light turns from green to orange, you are to close to brake, but to far away to keep the rate you are going. So you give it a little gas.

I ended up going a little faster than the 40 mph limit, and cross the intersection. But it wasn't flat, rather, it had a nice little ramp in it. When I went over there was this split second of nothing. Then I had contact with the road surface again. I was going dead straight, so I didn't feel out of control. But yet it's something I'd rather not do again.

I didn't think our s197 would catch air slightly faster than 40 mph if you pushed it off a cliff.

it's possible that your tires never left the ground but you still had a floating effect with your springs stretching out.

Dukes of Hazard, eat your heart out. ^_^

I did that once, but this was a horribly steep dip with a nice rise, and my pony got probably a foot up and landed on all 4s and kept going. No screech, no lost traction, no out of control. She rolled like there was basically nothing.

Glad I am not the only one, CAUGHT.

Anyway. Never done it in a car, but I have done it on a motorcycle, (street bike not dirt bike) and it is sure a butt pucker moment.
